When does Nature's Bounty open for the season?
We open to the public the Tuesday after the Labour Day weekend. The 2018 season begins September 4.
WHere is the farm located?
Our farm is located between Uxbridge, Port Perry and Brooklin, about an hour's drive east from Toronto via the 401 and 407. For directions and our address, please see our Contact page.
Is there an admission fee?
Yes, we have an entrance fee of $5 per person; children under 2 are free. Guests receive a voucher of equivalent value toward the purchase of apples. Vouchers are only valid during the day of purchase.
Do I have to pay for the apples I pick?
Yes, apples are weighed and purchased at the farm gate. We invite you to enjoy an apple or two as you pick but please do not be wasteful.
Do you accept debit or credit card payments?
We currently accept cash and debit only.
Can i Bring my dog to the farm?
Yes, we allow well behaved dogs on the farm as long as they remain on leash. Dogs are not permitted in the orchard rows due to food safety protocol.
Can I bring a Picnic Lunch?
Yes, outside food and beverages are allowed on the farm and can be enjoyed at our picnic area or on the lawn.
Is there food and beverages available?
Yes, we offer hot and cold cider, cooked corn on the cob and an assortment of locally baked goods.
Is the Farm ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, most areas of the farm are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, however, due to the naturally uneven ground typical of a working farm, some areas may be difficult to access. Please speak to one of our team members if any assistance is needed.
Where do i go when i arrive?
The weekend entrance is through the main gate next to the "Nature's Bounty" sign. Our weekday entrance is 200m east of the main gate. Guests can park on the lawn and collect picking bags from a team member. The picnic shelter and pumpkin patch are located east of the parking area.
Are there washroom facilities on site?
Yes, we have portable toilets located around the farm for your convenience.
WHat other activities are available?
We have a number of family oriented activities to offer including a self-guided nature walk around the property, obstacle course, corn maze, play area, pumpkin patch and a visit with the sheep.
